       严明博士主要科研方向为金属材料的3D打印(近期以钛合金为主,未来拓展到铝合金、钢等),其目标为在南科大建立一个有特点(人员构成、研究方向等方面)的3D打印实验室 以及为本科生、研究生服务的3D打印实验基地。此外,严明博士对于金属材料(钛、非晶态合金、铝)的粉末冶金,以及非晶态合金的开发与表征有一定程度的了解。

       严明博士著有英文书籍章节3篇,全部论文71篇,第一作者34篇。曾两次作为第一作者获得“ 年度最佳论文奖”(Best Paper Award, 2012 and 2013, byARC Centre of Excellence for Design in Light Metals),作为合作作者入选“最多次下载论文”一篇 (Most Downloaded Paper, 2013, by Journal of theMechanical Behavior of Biomedical Materials)。


研究内容:

钛合金粉末冶金;

钛合金 3D 打印的基础研究;

其它材料(铝合金、非晶态合金、氧化物陶瓷)的粉末冶金基础研究;

新型镍基、钛基高温合金3D打印用粉的研发与制备(开发高品质、新型、多种类高温合金材料;

优化增材制造用粉体制备技术;提供高品质、航空发动机 3D 打印高温合金用粉) 。
